Where every number comes from
Each transaction and total in Euporia can be traced back to its source.
A financial app is only useful if you can trust its numbers. Euporia keeps a record of where each one came from.
Transactions
Open any transaction to see its Source:
- Imported from file name: brought in from a bank file. The import is also listed under Import → Past imports with its row counts.
- Added manually: you or someone in your space typed it in.
Change history on the same transaction shows every change to its category, name or notes.
Balances
An account's balance is the figure you last confirmed. Each confirmation is recorded with its date, and an optional note such as checked against today's statement. Importing transactions never changes a balance behind your back.
Totals
Totals in your base currency always say which exchange rates were used and leave out, by name, anything that couldn't be converted. See Money in many currencies.
AI
Anything written by AI is labelled AI-generated. AI suggestions are links to the page where you make the change yourself. See How the AI works.
Activity
The Advisor's What changed list records changes that affect money in your space, such as imports and budget changes.
