Overview
Your home page. It answers "are we okay?" for the current month.
Overview is the first page after you sign in. Everything on it is for the current calendar month, shown in your base currency.
Income
€3,200
Assigned
€2,370
Ready to assign
€830
Switch months to see how the plan strip and envelopes change. Ready to assign turns to €0 when every euro has a job.
This month's plan
The strip at the top shows your budget for the month:
- Income: the income you planned in Budgets.
- Assigned: how much of it you've put into envelopes.
- Ready to assign: income minus assigned. It turns red if you've assigned more than you planned to earn.
Select Assign the rest (or Review your plan) to open Budgets. Your plan lists your first four envelopes with how much of each you've spent.
Cash flow
When the month has income or spending, you'll see money In, money Out and what's Left after spending, or how far Spending exceeds income.
- Pending transactions and the Transfer category don't count.
- Refunds reduce spending in their own category rather than counting as income.
The note under the figures says which rates were used if anything had to be converted.
Net worth
Your Net worth with total Assets and Liabilities, and how it has changed since your last snapshot. The line under it shows the date of the exchange rates used, and names any currency left out because no rate was available.
What changed, and what's next
- What changed? shows your biggest category change against last month and your five most recent transactions.
- Coming up lists recurring charges due in the next month.
- What should we do next? opens the Advisor for this month's AI review, and shows how many AI calls you have left.
Something to review?
A banner appears when money going out has been categorised as Income, which usually means a category needs fixing. Select it to open Transactions.
If Overview can't load
Couldn't calculate your overview usually means exchange rates couldn't be fetched. Wait a moment and reload. If it persists, check status.euporia.money.
