Add a contribution to a goal. When contributions reach the target, the goal is marked Achieved. A contribution records progress; it doesn't move money.
Create a goal
Select Create goal and fill in:
- Goal name (up to 120 characters).
- Goal type: Savings or Debt payoff.
- Target amount, in your base currency.
- Description (optional).
Record progress
Select Add contribution on a goal and enter an amount.
A contribution is a record of progress. It doesn't move money between your accounts; you do that at your bank.
Each goal shows its Target, how much you've Contributed, the percentage and what's left To go. When contributions reach the target, the goal is marked Achieved and moves to the end of the list. Achieved goals aren't included in the totals at the top.
If your budget has money left to assign, Goals reminds you so you can set some aside for them in Budgets.
Delete a goal
Deleting a goal removes it and its contribution history. You can't undo this.
