Your first steps
The four-step welcome that sets up your name, base currency and first account.
The first time you open Euporia, a short welcome takes you through four steps. You can select Skip setup at any point. Steps you've already answered aren't asked again, and you can change your base currency later in Settings.
Your name and currency
Under What should I call you?, enter a first name or nickname (up to 40 characters). Euporia uses it when it tells you what changed.
Under Show my totals in, choose your base currency. Euporia suggests one from your browser's region. Your accounts keep their own currencies; only totals are converted.
What you want to accomplish
Pick up to three goals, most important first, such as Know where my money goes or Stick to a budget. Your choices decide which next steps Euporia suggests. You can select Skip this.
Bring in your money
Start with one of these. You can add the rest later from Accounts.
- Import a bank file: export a statement from your bank and import it. No bank login needed.
- Add an account by hand: create an account and enter its current balance.
- Import investments or Add property, crypto and loans, if you chose a goal about investments or net worth.
Your first read
Euporia shows your Net worth, money In this month and Out this month, plus anything that stands out, and up to three suggested next steps. Select Go to my overview to open the Overview.
Connecting a bank directly isn't available during the beta. The welcome may still mention it; use a bank file instead.
