Two-step verification

Where you're signed in

Firefox on macOSActive nowThis device
Safari on iOSLast active 2 days ago

Walk through turning on two-step verification (any six digits work here), then sign out a device you don't recognise. Nothing here touches a real account.

Change your password

In Security → Password, enter your Current password and a New password of 12 to 128 characters, then select Update password. Changing it signs you out on your other devices, and we email you that it changed.

If you signed up with Google, select Email me a link to set a password instead.

Turn on two-step verification

Two-step verification (2FA) asks for a code from an authenticator app each time you sign in with your password.

Start

In Two-step verification, confirm your password and select Set up.

Scan the code

Scan the QR code with an authenticator app. If you can't scan it, use the key shown under Can't scan? Enter this key.

Confirm

Enter the 6-digit Code from the app and select Turn on.

Save your backup codes

You'll see 10 backup codes. Each works once, and they won't be shown again. Store them somewhere safe, away from your phone, then select I've saved them.

Turning 2FA on or off signs you out on your other devices and sends you an email. With 2FA on, Google sign-in is turned off for your account. To get a fresh set of backup codes, select New backup codes.

When 2FA is required

If you own a shared space or have connected a bank, Euporia asks you to turn on 2FA within 7 days. After that, managing the space is paused until you do. You can always still see your data.

Change your email

Under Email, enter the New email and select Change email. We send a link to your current address to approve the change, then ask you to verify the new one. You'll need to have signed in within the last 10 minutes.

See where you're signed in

Where you're signed in lists each browser and when it was last active. Select Sign out next to any device you don't recognise, or Sign out everywhere else. Recent sign-ins shows your last five.

Sessions end after 7 days without use, and after 30 days at most.

Delete your account

In Delete account, confirm your password and select Email me a confirmation link. Open the link in the email (it works for 24 hours) to finish. This can't be undone.

Deleting your account removes your personal space and all its data, and any shared space where you're the only member. If you own a shared space that has other members, transfer it or delete it first.
