Select Confirm balance and enter today's balance from your bank. Importing transactions never changes a balance; confirming it does.
Add an account
Select Add account and fill in:
- Account name, for example N26 main (up to 120 characters).
- Type: Checking / savings, Credit card, Investment or Loan.
- Currency: any supported currency. It defaults to your base currency and can't be changed later.
- Current balance. Use a negative amount for what you owe on a credit card or loan.
You can also create an account while importing a bank file.
Confirm a balance
Importing transactions doesn't change an account's balance. To bring a balance up to date, open the account's menu and select Confirm balance, then enter the balance your bank or broker shows today. You can add a note, such as checked against today's statement.
This updates the balance used in Overview and Net worth and records the change. It doesn't add a transaction.
Review an account's transactions
Select Review transactions from an account's menu to open Transactions filtered to that account.
Investment accounts
For investment accounts, the balance is the account's total value, including cash. Holdings you import are shown inside the account but aren't added to the total again.
Renaming, closing and deleting manual accounts isn't available yet. Connecting a bank isn't available during the beta.
